GUIDANCE for GBV One Stop Centers in Somalia
This guidance is developed to standardize service provision across GBV one-stop centers to ensure that GBV survivors are provided services in line with the standards and guidelines of GBV service provision. It is also defining the kind of services and support that is provided by the GBV one-stop centers and type of human resources that is required to deliver quality, timely and confidential services to GBV survivors.
Integrating care for GBV survivors with reproductive health services
GBV one-stop centres are unique in the Somalia humanitarian response because it offers both clinical management of rape, treatment of physical injuries and psycho-social counselling within one location. It also provides an opportunity to provide other GBV information.

The Somali Health and Demographic Survey 2020
This survey marks the first time that such data has been produced in the history of Somalia. It provides long-awaited information required by policy- and decision-makers, and all other relevant stakeholders to make evidence-based programme and policy decisions that deliver effective services to Somalis. The survey findings will enable the Federal Government of Somalia and Federal Member States to monitor their respective sectors in Somalia’s National Development Plans, including those relating to improving the lives of women and children, and overall health in Somalia.

Also, UNFPA is working with its implementing partners across the country to ensure SRH and GBV services are available for communities and specifically to women, adolescents girls and youth.
