In response to the drought situation in Somaliland, UNFPA is supporting Burao, Boroma and Hargeisa General Hospital where support is provided through the CEmONC. UNFPA is also providing services on GBV prevention and response in the three hospitals and is expanding these services to two more districts, Erigavo and Lasanood. Both districts are severely hit by drought and currently hosting 136,000 IDPs. Post rape kits prepositioned in Hargeisa are utilised for immediate response in these districts.
