The youth among them the Y PEER and community members raised awareness on the growing challenges in the anti-social behavior,education,crime,health and generation issues through a series of activities which included plays, poems, songs and a football match in commeration of the day.
Among the dignitaries were his Excellency Dr. Abdiweli Mohammed Ali Gaas the President of Puntland State, honorable Mr. Ali Hajj the Minister for Education, Mr. Abdirahman Said the Minister for Labour,Youth and Sports and other International and local agency representatives.
The government urged the youth to create more awareness on the importance of Patriotism and promised to tackle the issue of unemployment among the youth.
