In November 2011 the Ministry of Health in Somaliland opened a campaign in Borama Fistula Center. Besides the 80 cases operated there already by December, one doctor from Bassaso hospital undergone practical training on fistula management with the technical team in Borama. The same doctor from Bossaso undertook an eight weeks training in Kenya early 2011.
