The 2020 Somaliland Health and Demographic Survey (SLHDS) launched
The Government of Somaliland, through the Central Statistics Department at the Ministry of Planning and National Development (MoNPD) and the Ministry of Health Development (MoHD) has launched the results of Somaliland Health and Demographic Survey (SLHDS). This study is the first Demographic and Health type of survey in Somaliland.

GBV/FGM Rapid Assessment Report - in the Context of COVID-19 Pandemic in Somalia
The GBV/FGM rapid assessment was organized and undertaken by the GBV AoR Somalia to generate data and information on the impact of COVID-19 on GBV/FGM incidents and GBV service provision. It also interrogated factors around COVID and stigmatization, access to health services for women and adolescent girls and the impact of COVID19 on schooling for adolescents’ boys and girls.

GUIDANCE for GBV One Stop Centers in Somalia
This guidance is developed to standardize service provision across GBV one-stop centers to ensure that GBV survivors are provided services in line with the standards and guidelines of GBV service provision. It is also defining the kind of services and support that is provided by the GBV one-stop centers and type of human resources that is required to deliver quality, timely and confidential services to GBV survivors.
Integrating care for GBV survivors with reproductive health services
GBV one-stop centres are unique in the Somalia humanitarian response because it offers both clinical management of rape, treatment of physical injuries and psycho-social counselling within one location. It also provides an opportunity to provide other GBV information.
COVID-19 Vulnerability Mapping by Risk Factors in Banadir Region
IDPs are considered to be one of the most vulnerable populations to the spread of COVID-19 infections. This is due to the nature of their settlements and inadequate social amenities available to them. Due to the rapid movement of IDPs in Banadir, regular updates of their locations is crucial.
